I’ve learned so much from all the science, philosophy, and reform tumblrs on here but it’s become too easy to absorb myself in it all and avoid work to do. I don’t know if there’s some kind of middle ground to take.
You’d think there’s a special imaginary bubble around your body because you’re a conscious autonomous being , separate from inanimate matter but really even your body is a part of the inanimate side of existence, it’s no more conscious than the sofa I’m sitting on. If there is an imaginary bubble it’d be around the brain, or more likely a section of the brain....
